Our NICEIC ACS Domestic Gas Re-Assessment training course, is our flagship course required by Gas Safe Engineers wishing to renew their qualifications and Gas Safe Register registration licences.
Please note that training is a pre-requisite for Initial Assessments only.
NICEIC ACS Re-Assessment for Natural Gas Course has been designed for experienced Gas Engineers with existing gas knowledge and skills. The re-assessment package course is a mixture of training & assessments which can take up to 5 days and includes the following categories:
• CCN1 + CPA1 (Core Gas Safety incl. CPA1) – Up to 5 days Re-Assessment
• CCN1 (Core Gas Safety) + 4 Appliances (including CPA1) – Up to 5 days Re-Assessment
• CENWAT (Central Heating Boilers) – 1 Day
• CKR1 (Domestic Cookers) – 1 Day
• HTR1 (Gas Fires & Wall Heaters) – 1 Day
• MET1 (Meters) – 1 Day
Please note that previous certification is required for ACS reassessments on all occasions.
As an experienced gas fitting operative considering the renewal of CCN1 and/or Appliances or looking to add Appliances, you must provide us with evidence of:
Your GAS SAFE registration number or the GAS SAFE registration number of the business that employs you;
Your National Insurance number;
2 recent colour photographs;
Your existing ACS certificates.
Expired ACS certificates must be within 12 months of expiry to qualify eligible for Re-assessment. If your certificate expiry date is more than 12 months ago then you will require the Initial Assessment.
Please note that only Category 1 – Experienced practising Gas Fitting Operatives are allowed to undertake the re-assessment.
Following successful completion of both the theory and practical elements of your training course with us, you will be provided awarded your NICEIC ACS Certification, accredited by UKAS.
