Entry Requirements

Please note that you cannot complete your ASHP Course without the below mandatory pre-requisite qualifications.

This course is ideal for experienced plumbing and heating or Gas Safe registered engineers, looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of heat pumps systems with a view to applying for Competent Person, MCS or PAS 2030 registration.

To register and attend this course, candidates must hold:

A valid WRAS Water Regulations qualification | sold separately at £250 + VAT if required
A valid G3 Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems qualification | sold separately at £250 + VAT if required
A Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ or SVQ in plumbing; or a heating & ventilation (F-Gas) / gas / oil – Installation and Maintenance qualification
Demonstrable experience in plumbing/heating or air conditioning industries
