The CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme SSSTS has been designed for construction Site Supervisors looking to enhance their knowledge on supervision of health and safety and legal requirements on a construction site in the UK.
This is a Site Safety Plus (SSP) from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) which brings benefits to site managers, supervisors, industry stakeholders and employers in the construction industry.
The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.
This training course is delivered over 2 consecutive days, meeting the minimum training required of 15 hours.
Delegates should hold, or be about to hold, the role of a site supervisor.
Please note: You must have a good understanding of spoken and written English to be able to attend this course.
Following successful completion of both the theory and practical elements of your training course with us, you will be provided awarded your CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), qualification certificate valid for 5 years.
CDC Group is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and a Site Safety Plus (SSP) Training Centre.
CITB funding and its automated grant process is available for this training course for eligible CITB Levy Registered Employers.
