The IPAF Harness Use and Inspection (H) category training course has been designed for anyone who operates a Mobile Elevated Work Platform, such as static booms, scissor lifts and mobile boom lifts.
The 1/2 day course will cover inspection, maintenance, monitoring, fitting and correct use of safety harnesses and lanyards when operating a MEWP.
Designed to instruct up to a maximum ratio of 10 delegates per instructor, the course also covers skills such as the selection and pre-use inspection of the equipment. Our industry leading course will provide delegates with the knowledge to understand the relevant Health & Safety Regulations, Guidance and Standards surrounding IPAF Harness Use and Inspection, in particular.
Successful delegates will gain an understanding of the correct selection and pre-use inspection of safety harnesses and lanyards used for restraint on MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).

From 01 June 2021, all IPAF PAL cards and certificates applied for will be issued in digital format via the ePAL App.
Operators can download the app for free on Apple iOS and Android devices and use it to view and access their digital PAL Cards, Logbooks and IPAF Safety Guides. Our Instructors will talk you through this process at the start of your IPAF course.
CDC will be using the new IPAF Digital PAL Card Licence Application (ePAL) to process all IPAF certification.
