The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) is a three day training course designed to individuals which are working in ‘high risk’ work environments (typically manufacturing, workshops, construction etc) or if you have more than 50 employees.
As per our commitments to our learners’ needs, we have invested a lot of research time and resources to create our very own ePortfolio System, available to our learners’ on any operating system and device (Windows/Mac/Android/iOS) from December 2018 at www.cdc.org.uk
There’s no formal entry requirements and you do not need to hold previous first aid knowledge. If you organisation is considered low risk (offices, shops etc) or have less than 50 employees, you can also choose the Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day).
Potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrolment through our initial assessment.
The objective of the course is to assess accidents and apply the necessary first aid where and when required.
The course is being delivered and assessed via classroom training and practical exercises and at the end of the course you’ll have to complete an assessment workbook.
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) is being delivered over a period of three days’ and there’s a 100% classroom attendance required.
Our first aid training meets all the standards required for you to comply with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
This course is accredited by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK), an Ofqual-recognised Awarding Body. After course completion, this qualification enhances employment opportunities within the UK as fully qualified First Aider.
You’ll be awarded the TQUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF), an Ofqual-regulated qualification and a Validation Card, both valid for three years’.
