The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work training course has been developed for every individual which needs an understanding of first aid at work and looking to become a fully qualified First Aider, regardless of the industry their in.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.
Over a 3 day period, prospective candidates will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including but not limited to:

Unit 1 – Emergency First Aid in the Workplace (Level 3 – GLH 6)
Unit 2 – Recognition and Management of Ilness and Injury in the Workplace (Level 3 – GLH 12)

Following successful completion of your training course, you will be awarded a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF), an Ofqual regulated qualification valid for three years.
