Level 3 in Emergency First Aid at Work Course Course Overview

During a one day course, prospective learners will be able to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations.

Your course content will include:

Unit 1 – Level 3 in Emergency First Aid at Work Course (GLH 6)

1. Understand the role and responsibilities of a First Aider
2. Be able to assess and incident
3. Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
4. Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
5. Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
6. Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock
7. Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries

Important Notes:

• You will be expected expected to complete both your theory and practical elements of this training course in full for a pass grade
• You must have a good understanding of spoken and written English to be able to attend and complete this course
