What is the City & Guilds 6189-11 NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating Package Course

This intensive course focuses on gaining essential practical skills and knowledge training in Plumbing. This ensures that when the learner completes their qualification, they will have gained vital practical experience and some expectation of the situation they could face in a job role within the plumbing sector.

Our Package includes both your Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Course which is delivered at our purpose-built plumbing training centre and workshops and your NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing & Heating Assessments.

How does it work?

1. Place an order securely via our website to secure your place (payment in full required at this stage).
2. You will be contacted next day by one of our customer advisors to start your official registration with City & Guilds.
3. You will be granted access to City & Guilds dedicated SmartScreen eLearning Portal (access valid for 12 months from registration) – this is the place where you’ll access all your course materials, resources, handouts and presentations for each module.
4. You will be invited over to our training centre for an induction day with your trainer and develop a training attendance plan. We currently have capacity to take on learners on board for attendance as follows: once-a-week basis; twice-per-week or three-times-a-week.
5. First day and official start of your practical training course will be entirely your decision; all the required equipment, materials and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are included in your course fee – please note that we do not include safety boots for hygiene reasons.

Your qualification combines theory (delivered via City & Guilds SmartScreen eLearning),practical workshop sessions training with your Trainer at our Training Centre and on-site assessments visits at your workplace on site.

Following the successful completion of your Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Course, you’ll then progress towards completing your NVQ Level 2 which is included in your package.

Who is this qualification for?

This comprehensive training package applies to any prospective learners who are considering a career in plumbing & heating, but who would like some experience of the job role first, or those industry experienced individuals which lack a formal qualification to recognise their skills.

How do I study and achieve this qualification?

Your qualification combines theory and practical workshop sessions training. Final assessments will include passing your on-screen online examinations, alongside your simulated practical assessments at our Training Centre and workplace-based NVQ assessments.

Do I get any course materials or equipment?

• CDC Group will provide you with access to the City & Guilds SmartScreen e-Learning Platform where you’d be able to access all your course materials for 12 months.
• All your required course materials necessary to complete the course will also be provided, alongside relevant equipment for your practical tasks being included.
• All the required Tools, Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be also provided by us when you’re training in our workshops.

Are there any Entry Requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements to enrol for this course, however, you’re in the driving seat – all you need is ambition for acquiring the skills and knowledge that would shape up your profession as a professional building engineer Plumber.

Duration

Part-time learners can usually complete this course within 12 months from registration. Full-time learners can achieve this within 4-6 months, depending on availability and commitment. Full-time support and advice will be provided throughout your course. Our current attendance is based on 1-day a week, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Course Fee

• City & Guilds 6189-11 Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Training Package Course fee is charged at £4,900 + VAT (£5,880, payable upfront).
• Fee is payable in 2 equal instalments (50% at registration – 50% at the end of your course with us).
• Prospective delegates are allowed a period of 12 months to complete this course.
• If you enrol today, you will receive your Registration Pack, all the required resources you’d need to start your first session and your training plan which is agreed with you.
