NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety has been developed for existing Health & Safety Professionals within the built environment.
This qualification gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your health and safety expertise, skills, knowledge, and competence in the construction industry without attending to any training in formal classrooms or workshops settings.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, extensive experience in overseeing the health and safety of construction projects is essential to achieving this qualification.
Prospective candidates must be able to demonstrate they can meet the requirements of this qualification before registration through our Initial Assessment process. Experience in Occupational Health & Safety is required to be able to complete your assessment.
Your assessment will be carried out via on-site assessment at your workplace, on a live site by one of our specialist NVQ Assessor(s). The number of the site visits and interactions with your allocated assessor depends on your motivation, availability, and experience. The entire process will be coordinated by using a variety of communication methods and evidence collection processes, to suit the individual learner needs.
Mandatory Units Group (All units must be completed)
Registered candidates will enjoy our dedicated assessor support for a period of 6 months for qualifications at levels 2 – 5, and up to 12 months for qualifications levels 6 – 7. However, most candidates complete this programme within 4-6 months, depending on the motivation and availability of the learner.
Successful candidates will be awarded a ProQual Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice qualification which in conjunction with passing a CITB HS&E Test for Managers and Professionals (MAP) within last 2 years’ of applying, will lead to a Black Managers’ CSCS Card.
Prospective delegates can also use this fantastic opportunity to considering applying for Graduate Membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (GradIOSH).
This qualification has been approved for Graduate Membership (GradIOSH) application with the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH). Please note that a formal assessment through the IOSH’s peer review is required after completing your assessment and achieving your qualifications with us.
