The NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Interior Systems – Dry Lining Fixing (Construction) is the official vocational qualification for experienced Dry Lining Fixers in the Construction Industry.
This qualification gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, knowledge, and competence without attending to any classrooms or workshops, your allocated assessor will visit you on site.
As per our commitments to our learners’ needs, we have invested a lot of research time and resources to create our very own ePortfolio System, available to our learners’ on any operating system and device (Windows/Mac/Android/iOS) from December 2018 at www.cdc.org.uk
This qualification is designed for existing fixers active in the Construction Industry. Past partitioning experience is required and essential to achieving this qualification.
Potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrollment through our initial assessment
The assessment will be carried out via OSAT (On-Site Assessment & Training) completely at our learners’ workplaces. There will be no workshops, no classrooms and no time off work. The number of the site visits and interactions with the candidates’ allocated assessor depends on the motivation, availability, and experience.
Individuals will be assessed by one of our expert NVQ Assessors, the entire process being coordinated by using a variety of communication methods and evidence collection processes, to suit the individual learner needs’.
Every single candidate will enjoy our dedicated assessor support for a period of up to one year. Your allocated assessor will coordinate the site visits at your workplace and support you in gathering all the relevant evidence to compile your Portfolio of Evidence.
However, this qualification will be achieved within 1-12 months, depending on the motivation and availability of the learner.
The Awarding Body for this qualification is Pearson Edexcel, Ofqual-regulated AO. Upon successful completion of your course, you’ll be awarded:
• Pearson Edexcel Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Interior Systems – Dry Lining Fixing (Construction) (QCF) valid for the lifetime
• Blue Skilled Workers’ CSCS Card valid for 5 years’
