The PASMA Cantilever Towers for Users training course has been developed for operatives responsible for the assembly, alteration, dismantling, moving, inspecting and use of all types of mobile access towers for overcoming obstacles and by enabling you to get closer to the area you need to reach.

In order to help you work over obstructions, these mobile towers have a platform sticking out from it’s side or end.

PASMA Cantilever Towers Course Overview

This is a specialist course for Operatives with experience in operating mobile towers. PASMA Cantilever Towers for Users will equip you with the specialist knowledge you need to work safely with cantilever towers.

This training course is formed by 2 parts:

Theory

Introduction to PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association)
Tutor-led theory training course in our classroom
Theory Test

Practical

How to safely assemble, dismantle, alter and move the cantilever towers
How to safely use cantilever towers in the workplace
How to inspect cantilever towers
How to identify hazards relating to their use
What legislation, regulations and guidance are applicable to these towers

Using a combination of theory and practical work, this course enhances your existing knowledge by introducing new techniques, such as the use of ballast to balance the tower. You will also be presented new enabling components, such as cantilever frames and frame links, in addition to learning about the different safe working load capabilities of this type of tower.
