IPAF Dual PAL Plus Virtual Reality Combined (3A+) & (3B+) training course has been designed for advanced MEWP Operators which are working in particularly challenging or high-risk environments, at height.

Delivering by using a Virtual Reality (VR) simulator with a headset, the equipment creates a fully immersive and realistic experience without the safety implications involved in live training. This cutting edge training method removes the risk of hazards, allowing delegates to make mistakes, learn and reflect, with instant reports on their performance.

IPAF Dual PAL Plus Virtual Reality Course Overview

This course requires a successful completion of an IPAF e-Learning Theory Module which must be undertaken before attendance to your training day.

Who should take this course?

PAL+ training is open to operators who hold an existing IPAF PAL Card qualification in the relevant category. PAL+ is specifically designed for operators who work in higher risk, demanding, or challenging environments, e.g. steelworkers, and those working in confined overhead spaces or on uneven terrains.

IPAF ePAL

From 01 June 2021, all IPAF PAL cards and certificates applied for will be issued in digital format via the ePAL App.

Operators can download the app for free on Apple iOS and Android devices and use it to view and access their digital PAL Cards, Logbooks and IPAF Safety Guides. Our Instructors will talk you through this process at the start of your IPAF course.

CDC will be using the new IPAF Digital PAL Card Licence Application (ePAL) to process all IPAF certification.

The IPAF Digital PAL Card Licence Application (ePAL) is a mandatory item when making a booking, included for FREE in your course fee
IPAF Physical PAL Card Licence Application (Printed Certificate and IPAF PAL Card) – charged at £25.00 + VAT if required
