The NEW IPAF Harness Awareness (HA) eLearning Course has been designed MEWP Operators required to be trained on the awareness and safe use of a full body Harness and lanyard systems.
This is an interactive, online-only eLearning Theory Module designed by IPAF – successful completion of this training will result in being awarded an IPAF Harness Awareness International Certificate, valid for 5 years.
Your online training courses covers information about different types of Harness Systems, selection and pre-use inspection of the equipment. Our industry leading course will provide delegates with the knowledge to understand the relevant Health & Safety Regulations, Guidance and Standards surrounding IPAF Harness Use and Inspection, in particular.
Successful delegates will gain an understanding of the correct selection of safety harnesses and lanyards used for restraint on MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).
From 01 June 2021, all IPAF PAL cards and certificates applied for will be issued in digital format via the ePAL App.
Operators can download the app for free on Apple iOS and Android devices and use it to view and access their digital PAL Cards, Logbooks and IPAF Safety Guides. Our Instructors will talk you through this process at the start of your IPAF course.
CDC will be using the new IPAF Digital PAL Card Licence Application (ePAL) to process all IPAF certification.
